Today I cooked up some eggplant, of the NC Machiaw variety, and it tasted like fish. Now, I like fish, but this was disgusting and a bit discomforting. Definitely not what I was expecting. Next time I will stick to the other kinds I think.
On a happier note I get to board a plane in about 15 hours to venture north to the homeland again. Quite excited, to the point of dancing when I think about it.
